Reception Area

Every detail of this elegant, spa-like suite is designed with our patients' comfort and care in mind. The reception area's diffused natural light, circular earth-tone granite desk and comfortable ambience reflect the center's overarching goal: to create a peaceful, soothing and safe space for our patients.
Main Infusion Area
This area is designed to emphasize the life-giving elements of ocean, earth and air, while creating an oasis of privacy at each of 10 spacious infusion stations. Here a patient can recline in comfort, store belongings on shelves built into a curving sea-green screen, connect to Wi-Fi on our iPads and enjoy coastal views. Chairs upholstered in sea anemone-like patterns allow guests and caregivers to provide support and companionship during the sessions.
Nurses and medical assistants are just steps away, as is a nook where complimentary beverages and nourishing snacks are readily available. Each station is linked to an unobtrusive state-of-the-art computer system that records and monitors each patient's individualized treatment. Warm blankets are on hand at all times.
Private Room
Two private infusion rooms are available for patients who may need more privacy because of their medical conditions. As in the main infusion area, these warm, airy rooms are equipped with reclining chairs, Wi-Fi, iPads and warm blankets when a cozy wrap is in order. These rooms are adjacent to bathrooms, the nutrition center and nurses station.
Bathroom
Every aspect of the infusion center is designed for our patients' comfort. Positioned just a few feet from the infusion stations, our spacious bathrooms are appointed with designer glass and clay tiles that echo the center's earth, air and ocean theme. Handrails and a help button are important safety features available to our patients.
Pharmacy
This well-provisioned pharmacy laboratory exemplifies the innovative technology and medical advances at the heart of our cancer center. Our clinical oncology pharmacists use a sterile chamber to blend chemotherapy drugs to the precise specifications for each patient. Medications are stored in a temperature-controlled environment to ensure their purity and effectiveness. Special orders come within 24 hours so that they are available for patients right away. Our pharmacist and technician are on duty at all times during business hours.
Laboratory
Assessing a patient's blood work in real time is essential to determining the best treatment. In this state-of-the-art medical laboratory, a skilled professional runs samples drawn onsite from patients to help our oncologists and pharmacists tailor medications and treatment, accounting for any changes in a patient’s situation —truly personalized care.
Exam Room
Our on-site hematologist-oncologists, who are among the most experienced cancer specialists in the Orange County region, see their patients in the cancer center's 10 well-equipped examination rooms, which are near the infusion area. This proximity enables patients to see their physicians and get individualized treatment in one convenient location without any delays.
