Welcome to your virtual tour of the Orlando Health Cancer Institute. This tour will give you an inside look at our main campus, located in Downtown Orlando, as well as our locations in Dr. Phillips, Lake Mary and Ocoee. As one of Florida's largest cancer care providers, we have five treatment locations and several practice locations throughout Central Florida. We also have specialty cancer care centers that focus on specific cancers, such as breast cancer, and provide patients access to highly specialized care teams and advanced treatment options. Our goal is to provide the best possible care based on each patient’s unique cancer journey.
The main entrance for our downtown Orlando location, is located in the Charles Lewis Pavilion, on the corner of Orange Avenue and Underwood Street.
From the natural light that spreads through the open-ceiling lobby to the cozy atmospheres found in our patient treatment areas, the Charles Lewis Pavilion combines leading-edge technology with a warm, soothing environment.
Our expert physicians, nurses and specialists provide compassionate care, while using the most sophisticated technology available. Since 2013, the Breast Center has been accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Care Centers (NAPBC). We’re also a past recipient of the Women’s Choice Award for America’s Best Breast Center, which acknowledges our dedication to providing exceptional patient care and treatment. Learn more about the Breast Care Center.
Patients receiving chemotherapy at our downtown campus will go to the Infusion Center, located on the 5th floor. We also have infusion centers in Dr. Phillips, Ocoee and Lake Mary. Our infusion centers are designed to provide relaxation and reduce anxiety. The caring staff is always available for patients. In addition to chemotherapy, we offer blood-related services and products such as transfusions, platelets, clotting factors and plasma.
Board-certified genetic counselors are here to help you and your family learn about your potential risk for a hereditary form of cancer, with possible genetic testing, so you can make informed decisions. Learn more about our genetic counseling services.
We offer advanced radiation therapies that kill cancer cells and shrink tumors with high energy X-rays, while minimizing damage to healthy tissues and organs. We are also home to the Marjorie and Leonard Williams Center for Proton Therapy, the first proton center in Central Florida, that treats patients using proton beams to shrink tumors.
We believe providing the most effective medical treatment is essential for our patients and families, but so is taking care of their emotional, psychological, social and spiritual needs. Research data shows that these services are just as important to someone’s health and overall well-being. The Integrative Medicine Department at Orlando Health engages patients and their families to become active participants in improving physical, emotional and social health. Through personalized, research-based complementary approaches and education, we are able to treat the whole person. Learn more about our Cancer Support Community and integrative medicine.
