Lobby
NYC Health + Hospital/Sea View welcomes patients, visitors and family members with compassion and respect.
Entrance Sitting Area
Residents, family members and visitors have a large sitting area to relax, catch up and have ample space to socialize.
Sea View Cinema
The Sea View Cinema remains one of our most attended recreational services available. The cinema stocks a variety of classic, musical, and new release films with screenings at 2:00pm, seven days a week. Sea View residents especially look forward to bi-monthly Comedy & Action, Friday nights and Pizza & Movie Night with their families and friends.
Chapels and Synagogue
Sea View offers its residents houses of worship to accommodate their spiritual needs. This includes Catholic, Protestant and Jewish services. If a resident has another faith they are welcome to have their spiritual scholar visit them individually. Volunteers are available to assist with transporting residents to faith-based services.
Occupational Therapy
Our occupational therapists are committed to help each resident regain their personal independence following illness or injury. Treatment focuses on developing and maintaining strategies and skills to allow residents to participate in everyday activities, such as getting dressed or bathing, in order to ensure they return home safely.
Physical Therapy
Our physical therapists have the expertise to help improve the mobility and strength of our residents; to promote physical independence and ease pain or discomfort. With tools such as a car transfer simulator, residents can practice the steps to independently handle essential everyday activities.
Greenhouse
Our greenhouse offers residents and families a place of comfort, natural sunlight, and tranquility among the beautiful flowers and plants located off the lobby area, in a peaceful space adjacent to our Chapel.
