NYC Health + Hospitals/Coler has a multi-access lobby/entrance with adequate seating for residents, family members, and visitors. Coler’s lobby also provides easy access to our grounds and gardens with seating that offers soothing views of the East River and the midtown Manhattan skyline.
Library
NYC Health + Hospitals/Coler has a library stocked with books and periodicals for every taste. Our library is also the gateway to our radio station and media room.
Media Room and Momo the Therapy Dog
Coler residents who want to channel their inner musician or movie producer can visit the media room and radio station to start a jam session or produce a short film. Momo, our canine resident is always eager to provide therapy support; spending time with residents in the dayroom or their rooms.
Computer Room
Our computer room is equipped with the latest Apple iMacs and include assistive technologies, providing access to all Coler residents—including those with vision and hearing challenges.

NYC Health + Hospitals/Coler has Catholic and Protestant chapels, a Masjid, and synagogue; catering to the religious needs of our diverse resident population.
Rehab OT-PT
At NYC Health + Hospitals/Coler we focus on each individual’s unique physical and emotional needs. Our care teams design customized rehabilitation treatment for each resident that is supportive and tailored to their preferences.
On-site Dialysis Den
NYC Health + Hospitals/Coler now offers onsite hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis for residents affected by kidney disease. This new service will significantly reduce infection risks for patients since they don't have to go to an outside facility to receive treatment.
Memory Care
NYC Health + Hospitals/Coler is a leader in thoughtful and compassionate specialized dementia and Alzheimer’s care. Our personalized program includes a music and memory program, recreational therapies which include art classes and social gatherings, as well as frequent doctor and therapist visits to assess your loved one’s progress.
