The brake dynos are also used to test and evaluate components including friction material, brake discs and drums, calipers, cams, springs, and wear sensors for various applications.

High torque capabilities push test samples to the limit and beyond, contributing to both development and validation. To simulate real life conditions of a tractor trailer, four channels of servo hydraulic controls are utilized launching real time simulation software. This system uses an I-beam simulated frame rail structure, pressurized air bags along with pressurized axle tube to monitor for air loss at the tube weldments. Simulated loading conditions include Tramp, Roll, Bump and Scrub.
